Are You Getting Our E-Mails?

Dear Chamber Members,

It has come to our attention that many of our members have recently stopped receiving our emails!

Several email service providers and email clients have updated their spam filtering systems, and while these changes are well-intentioned, they are preventing many properly-routed emails from reaching recipients. I have been working with Constant Contact (our mailing software provider) to investigate and hopefully correct the issues.

Please follow ALL of these steps to see if you’re able to correct the problem with a few simple setting changes on your end:

1. Check your Spam, Junk and/or Trash to see if our emails are being directed there. If they are, please mark them as “not spam”, and move them to your Inbox to “train” the system that these are not spam (if desired, delete them after moving them to the Inbox).
2. Add info@fuquay-varina.com to your contacts and/or address book.
3. Add info@fuquay-varina.com to your Safe Sender list, using the directions at the following link. Scroll down the webpage to locate your emails service provider’s name, and follow the instructions provided: https://knowledgebase.constantcontact.com/articles/KnowledgeBase/5873-adding-email-addresses-to-a-safe-sender-list?q=my+contact+did+not+receive+my+email&lang=en_US
4. If after doing all of the following, you are still not receiving emails after a week’s time, please send me an email, letting me know that you are still not seeing anything. I will then check to confirm:
– your email address is entered correctly in our contact database
– you are included in the general email list
– you have not unsubscribed from our mailings
