Wells Fargo Bank opened the doors on its newest branch with a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration on Wednesday, November 4th right here in Fuquay-Varina. Originally located on N. Main Street next to the Chamber, Wells Fargo has built a brand new, state-of-the-art building at 1256 E. Broad Street, right behind Krispy Kreme.
Corporate officials of Wells Fargo joined store manager Angeliyah Weitzel and Pamela Keene to cut the ribbon and formally welcome their customers. Chick-fil-A, Krispy Kreme, Subway, and more provided refreshments for the guests. Members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Ambassadors, and staff attended, as well as Mayor John Byrne and interim town manager Andy Hedrick.
In celebration of their big day, Wells Fargo branch employees gave a giant stuffed pony to the Fuquay-Varina Arts Council, who planned to give it to an underprivileged child in the Fuquay-Varina area for Christmas.
Please drop by their new facility and see the beautiful mural of Fuquay-Varina history that graces their lobby — and see what Wells Fargo can do for you in 2014!
