What was special about the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce’s December Business After Hours? Why, a visit from Santa himself, that’s what!
Sponsored by Tara Hargrove of Residential Rentals and the ladies at The Meeting Corner, the Chamber’s December Business After Hours was part networking event and part party! The Chamber was dressed in holiday glitter, the Christmas tree was lit, and the guests arrived decked out in holiday gear.
About 65 Chamber members mingled, networked and enjoyed the delicious refreshments and beverages. Lynanne Fowle, Director of Member Services, was the host for the evening. She welcomed everyone, made some announcements and introduced Tara. Tara thanked everyone for coming and explained about Residential Rentals.
Everyone was happily enjoying conversation when our surprise guest graced the scene. He couldn’t stay long as he had lots of work to do at the North Pole. Santa made his rounds, asking everyone if they had been good this year, and then proceeded out to the Chamber lobby, where he helped draw names for the great door prizes.
There was a 50/50 drawing that was won by Chamber member Melodie Elaine Estes. Photo Phil was on hand to take awesome photos. The Chamber extends its thanks to Tara and Hensley Scott from Residential Rentals, and Edna Morales and Kelly DeLaire from The Meeting Corner for sponsoring this Business After Hours.
Of course, we thank Santa for taking time from his busy schedule to share the evening with us. The Chamber wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
